Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza Result in Six Palestinian Deaths Amid Ongoing Conflict
On Friday, the Gaza Strip was the scene of another devastating Israeli bombing raid that resulted in the deaths of at least 20 Palestinians, including seven children, according to reports from the enclave’s Civil Defense. The attacks were concentrated in central and northern Gaza, exacerbating a humanitarian crisis that has intensified since the beginning of the conflict on October 7.
One of the most fatal attacks took place in Jabalia Al Balad, where shelling of a house belonging to the Khilla family left 12 people dead and several injured. Civil Defense reported that both children and a woman were among the victims, underlining the tragic reality of the civilian population caught in the middle of the conflict.
Another airstrike was carried out against the Jaffa residential tower, located in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. This bombing claimed the lives of eight Palestinians and left at least 15 wounded, including two children.
The victims were transferred to local hospitals, such as Al Awda and Al Aqsa, which are already facing serious difficulties due to the massive destruction of infrastructure in the region.
Since the beginning of the conflict, more than 45,000 people have been killed and around 100,000 injured. In addition, it is estimated that at least 11,000 people remain missing under the rubble, adding an even more tragic dimension to the crisis.
The enclave’s health authority has warned that nearly 90% of civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and health centers, has been destroyed by Israeli attacks, leaving the population in conditions of extreme vulnerability.
The situation raises an urgent call for action to address the humanitarian crisis and seek lasting solutions to the conflict that has marked this region for decades.
